Cost and implementation

What does a Business Central implementation cost in Estonia?

The cost is not one licence number. It is shaped by users, business processes, data, integrations, and how far the solution needs to move away from the Business Central standard.

The four main cost areas

A budget becomes predictable when software, implementation work, and your own team’s contribution are visible separately.

01

Licences

Cost depends on the number and roles of users, and whether you need Essentials or Premium functionality. Manufacturing management requires Premium licences. Microsoft’s public list price (2026): Essentials $80, Premium $110 and Team Members $8 per user per month — current euro pricing is confirmed by the Microsoft price list.

Cost: recurring Microsoft licences.

02

Discovery and configuration

We map the processes, agree the first-stage scope, and configure finance, manufacturing, warehousing, permissions, and the country localisations you need.

Cost: consulting and configuration work.

03

Data and integrations

Migration effort depends on the depth and quality of historical data. Integration cost depends on whether a ready-made connector fits or custom development is needed.

Cost: migration, testing, and integrations.

04

Training and go-live

Training effort depends on user count and roles. We plan closer support after go-live so operational questions do not disrupt production.

Cost: training, go-live support, and ongoing service.

What raises or lowers the price

Two companies with the same user count can have very different budgets. The difference usually comes from these six decisions.

A phased scope reduces the initial investment and shortens the time to the first measurable benefit.

Using standard processes reduces both implementation cost and the cost of future upgrades.

Clean master data reduces migration effort, error correction, and repeated testing.

Ready-made connectors for Telema, banks, and e-invoices cost less than company-specific development.

Multiple legal entities, sites, currencies, or exceptional workflows increase analysis and testing effort.

A strong internal project owner and timely decisions reduce waiting time and keep consulting hours under control.

We provide a firm estimate after discovery. At that point the first-stage scope, standard functionality, and risk reserve are visible. The discovery session itself is free.

Migrating from Navision: what changes the estimate

Business Central is the next generation of Dynamics NAV, but migration cost depends on your version, data volume, and the number of legacy customisations. The familiar data model helps; every custom feature still needs a fresh business case.

During discovery we separate what Business Central now provides as standard, what can be replaced with a better process, and what genuinely needs to be rebuilt. You do not pay to copy old technical debt by default.
